After tearing up Corsica once again we come back to Bussey with a cast of old favourites; Prequel, Ruf Dug & Z Lovecraft.
Another year, another killer release later - we can’t wait to welcome back top DJ, selector and producer: DJ Prequel, all the way from Melbourne, Australia. With support from Gilles Peterson, Osunlade, K15 and more for his last release on Rhythm Section International ‘Freedom, Jazz, Dance’ - Prequel’s sound fuses Detroit vibes, timeless jazz with modern sensibility. Joining us as part of his EUropean tour, fresh from a super performance from Worldwide Festival.
Ruf Dug, the RUF KUTZ boss, returns to the section after too long with a few more releases and infinite infinitely sick parties under his belt. Ruffy runs his own TV channel on NTS, his own stage for the entirety of Gottwood (which was once again a neon highlight), an amazing record label and produces fantastic music of all kinds on labels like Dream Catalogue, Klasse Wrecks, Music For Dreams, Banoffee Pies and loads more. He is probably the best DJ ever, with full-on encyclopaedic knowledge of all the great music you have never heard, be it from retro games or wildlife documentaries.
Our operations, studio runner and designer and resident deejay Z Lovecraft takes to the stage fresh from appearances at Corsica Studios, Southern Soul Festival in Montenegro and a release with local label and shop YAM Records.
International Black: Rhythm Section’s sister label turning heads and igniting dancefloors with a dogmatic club focus. Two releases in we announce a dance to celebrate the third release on International Black, from J. Deep & LT.
