Rhythm Section presents Future Proof: 

A career-building opportunity for emerging electronic music talent

In 2022, Rhythm Section launched Future Proof, an opportunity for emerging electronic music talent from across England. Building on our Patreon programme, we want to share the knowledge and skills the Rhythm Section team have built up over the years to help others make a career in electronic music.

Over 6 months, Future Proof supports 6 DJs and producers to develop their skills ready to become future leaders in the electronic music scene.

Each DJ/producer receives masterclasses from world-class artists, studio time, mentoring, audio equipment, software and training to prepare them for the future of the music industry.

The Future Proof offer includes:

• 6 masterclasses from world-leading artists such as Moxie, Jordan Rakei, Tash LC and Bradley Zero. They cover topics including radio, DJing, music production and managing your career

• 1 to 1 mentoring from an industry leader matched to your needs

• Training in music industry skills e.g. building a portfolio career, developing your artistic identity, awareness of environmental impact, diversity and inclusion

• Studio time

• Music software and equipment from the likes of Ableton and Audio-Technica

• Press photos

• Peer support through Action Learning sessions

• Travel costs and financial support
