Saul Announce their Return to Rhythm Section INTL with the First Single from their Upcoming Project, ‘Mutualism’ - ‘Coalesce’ Featuring Natty Wylah is Out Now

South London’s finest broken beat duo are back with a new single from their forthcoming sophomore EP on Rhythm Section, ‘Mutualism’.

Footshooter and Vels Trio’s Jack Stephenson-Oliver are making music together again after a 3 year long hiatus from this joint project. Their last project ‘Murmurations’, released in 2019 was received with open arms, and now this summer promises even more from this creative pairing.

Coalesce, featuring South London MC Natty Wylah, lofty, cloud-like atmospheres are built above classic Moog synths. The hypnotic bass and lead notes are equal parts hopeful, eerie and curious, matching the optimistic promise offered by Wylah’s hook: ‘don’t you want to find somewhere better?’. Subjects flow from party-focused lyrics to poetic streams of consciousness as Natty adopts a dreamy sung delivery by the end of the track.

The project is based around collaboration and the flow of ideas. So expect some more big features to be revealed in the following weeks…
